Birkenallee 20 Hotel Dunenmeer, Dierhagen
We had relied on the "child-friendly" rating on Google, but had to find on the spot that we were rejected: No service for families with children under 16. The unusual pricing initially astonished, but cleared up after a short time and is probably not (or at least not only) due to the food and drinks. The reception was polite, extremely discreet and visibly trying to describe why and why we couldn't be served without letting the cat out of the bag. What the gentleman on site gave us very diplomatically and through the flower was two different things: On the one hand, the guests of the house wanted to be spared the sight of people who the constantly well-heeled clientele might find "disturbing". The unspoken second hint behind the words that you are a "discreet house" may well be interpreted so that at least some of the well-heeled guests would use the visit (but not only) to initiate "close personal contact". In this mixed situation we were grateful for the suggestion of a nearby restaurant suitable for young families. This house is obviously unsuitable for families.
The beach bar of the Hotel Dünenmeer. Very cozy and with direct beach access. The service is quick and in a good mood. A lot has changed since our last visit here - new beach chairs and the orders no longer have to be fetched from the hotel restaurant - this is much faster. The sunsets that can be observed from here are second to none. Only the Bangkirai terrace should occasionally be checked for protruding screws.
Great view
Outside the session, this is an increase.
